A School of Life Outdoor Leadership Experience
The Climb is a one-day youth hiking experience designed to develop resilience, confidence, and leadership through challenge in nature. Organized by School of Life, this program combines a guided mountain hike with structured personal development activities that help young participants discover their strength beyond their comfort zone.
In today’s world, many children grow up surrounded by convenience and digital distractions. While comfort is easy to find, real growth often comes from facing challenges. The Climb is designed to give youth a safe and meaningful opportunity to experience controlled difficulty, teamwork, and achievement in a powerful outdoor environment.
During the hike, participants will engage in guided exercises that focus on mental resilience, discipline, teamwork, and self-awareness. Throughout the journey, instructors lead discussions and challenges that encourage participants to reflect on how they approach obstacles, how they support others, and how they push beyond the voice that tells them to quit.
At the summit, participants take part in a reflection session where they connect their experience on the mountain to challenges in everyday life. The goal is for each child to leave the experience with a stronger belief in their ability to overcome difficulties and take on new challenges with confidence.
The hike takes place in selected mountain trails within the UAE, including areas near Hatta and Jebel Jais, depending on conditions and the level of the group.
